Designed for the discerning coffee lover, The Curator Pour Over Stand is where art, science, and ritual meet. Handcrafted in Fort Collins, Colorado, its solid brass framework and walnut base recall the elegance of vintage atelier tools, precise yet poetic. The height-adjustable arm holds a Hario V60 glass dripper, allowing each brew to unfold with mindful rhythm. The Curator elevates the act of making coffee into a quiet study of light, texture, and time.

Key Features:
  • American Walnut Base: Sustainably harvested and finished with a food-safe oil, the walnut base offers a grounding warmth, a natural counterpoint to the luminous brass.

  • Brass Articulation: Inspired by the design of old-world drafting instruments, the polished brass arm allows for fine adjustment and a sculptural presence on your countertop.

  • Height Customization: Adaptable to a wide range of mugs and decanters, the adjustable arm ensures perfect alignment for your chosen vessel.

  • Flexible Compatibility: Designed for the Hario V60 dripper (included), yet capable of accommodating a variety of other cones and bases for versatile brewing.

  • Complete Set: Includes Hario V60 glass dripper and a box of Hario paper filters (size 2), providing a seamless start to your pour-over practice.

The Curator invites the slow art of coffee-making into the home. It honors the beauty of materials shaped by hand and the calm satisfaction of creating something meaningful, one cup at a time.

Product Details:
  • Includes: American walnut base, brass stand, Hario V60 glass dripper, 1 box Hario V60 filters (40 sheets, size 2)
  • The ring can accommodate a number of other pour over cones and bases.
  • The height and arm can be adjusted to accommodate a wide variety of mugs and decanters.
  • Dimensions: 5.5" W x 7" L base | 11.5" height | 3" ring diameter
  • Crafted in Fort Collins, Colorado

Setup:
  • Twist metal stand into walnut wood base until secure.
  • Using the thumb screw, adjust until the ring is at the desired height.
How to Brew:
  • Weigh out 21 grams of coffee (0.7 ounces, or approximately two tablespoons of whole beans).
  • Boil Water in an electric or stovetop tea kettle.
  • While the water is heating, grind the coffee to a medium-fine grind.
  • Fold the paper filter along the seams and place inside the glass dripper and rinse with hot water. Empty the water out of the carafe or cup and prepare to brew.
  • Add coffee grounds to the pre-wet filter for your required servings.
  • Take the boiling water off the flame and wait for the water to settle.
  • Pour hot water slowly to moisten the grounds from the center outward, while moving in a circular pattern. Wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Slowly start adding more water into the center of the grounds, using the same speed and swirling motion as before. Between pouring, gently agitate the ground coffee with a spoon to help with even extraction. Brewing time should take 2-3 minutes.
  • Once the liquid has slowed to an infrequent drip, the brewing process is finished. Enjoy!

*NOTE: If the brewing drips too quickly, then the coffee is ground too coarsely and you should try a finer ground. If it takes too long, grind the grounds coarser.

Care:
  • To clean, wash the glass Hario V60 with soap and water.
  • The brass parts can be cleaned with a brass cleaner or allowed to patina naturally.
  • The walnut can be cleaned with a damp cloth and refinished with a food-safe wood conditioner.
