Returns + Refund Policy
Cultiverre mindfully curates our collection of offerings based on quality, beauty, ethical business practices and sustainability. We believe it is important to adopt a more mindful approach to purchasing items for our homes + lifestyles, which is why we ask you to carefully review each product photograph + description, including special details like product measurements, materials, and origin before placing an order.
Because we work with small makers and natural materials, our policies are designed to balance clarity, fairness, sustainability, and the realities of artisan production.

- Damaged or Incorrect Items: Must be reported within 14 days of delivery

- Shipping Area: We ship to addresses in the United States only.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us at support@cultiverre.com within 14 days of delivery.
To help us assess the issue, we may request:
- Clear photos of the item
- Photos of the packaging and shipping materials
- Additional verification information
Once reviewed, we will determine the most appropriate resolution - which may include a replacement or refund - at Cultiverre’s discretion.
Please Note:
Damage resulting from product use, accidents, drops, improper handling, or care after delivery is not considered shipping damage and is not eligible for replacement or refund.
Returns
Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery confirmation and require advance authorization from Cultiverre. Returns are accepted for unused items only and are subject to the conditions outlined below.
To be eligible for return, items must be:
- Unused and in new condition
- Returned in original maker’s packaging, where applicable
- Free from wear, scent, residue, or signs of handling beyond initial inspection
- Carefully repackaged in adequately protective packaging for return transit
- Postmarked within 7 days of return authorization
Items that have been used, altered, washed, worn, or handled beyond initial inspection are not eligible for return.
Return Shipping + Fees
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Return shipping responsibility is determined by how the original order was shipped:
- Orders shipped with a free shipping promotion: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. A prepaid return label may be provided, and the applicable return shipping fee will be clearly communicated at the time the return is approved.
- Orders where shipping was paid at checkout: A prepaid return label may be provided. Original outbound shipping fees remain non-refundable.
Cultiverre is unable to issue refunds for returns that are lost or damaged in transit.
Product Exchanges
Exchanges are not offered, except in the case of damaged or incorrect items.
Items That Are Final Sale
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Bath, body, skincare, or personal care products
- Teas, foods, spices, tinctures, elixirs, wellness supplements, or other ingestible goods
- Sale or discounted items
- Gift cards
- Digital downloads
- Items not purchased directly from Cultiverre
- Items returned without authorization or outside the approved return window
- Styled or used items, including those expressly used for photoshoots, editorial content, social media, blog, or commercial projects
These exclusions ensure safety, hygiene, and fairness to both our makers and customers.
Handcrafted + Natural Material Variations
Many of our offerings are handmade or produced in small batches using natural materials. Variations in color, texture, finish, and form are expected and celebrated as part of the handmade process.
Natural aging, patina, tonal shifts, or subtle changes over time are not considered defects.
Product Photography + Visual Representation
We and our makers take great care to provide accurate photographic representations of each item we offer. Many products are photographed in studio settings or styled lifestyle environments to reflect how they might be used or displayed in the home.
Please note that:
- Lighting conditions, styling, props, and surrounding materials can influence how colors, tones, and finishes appear on screen
- Natural and handcrafted materials may look slightly different depending on ambient light, environment, and individual perception
- Variations visible under different lighting conditions are not considered defects
In addition, some products may be photographed in groups or styled collections for visual context. Unless otherwise stated, each product listing clearly specifies what is included in the purchase within the product description and details section.
We encourage reviewing all written product information carefully to understand how an item is sold (single item vs. set) and what is included before placing an order.
Differences related to lighting interpretation, styling, or assumptions about quantity are not grounds for return.
Care + Product Longevity
The longevity of an item is shaped by how it is handled, stored, and cared for over time. Many of our offerings are crafted from natural materials and may develop patina, variation, or subtle changes with use - qualities that reflect their handmade nature.
Changes resulting from normal wear, use, aging, environmental exposure, accidents, or improper care are not considered defects and are not eligible for return or replacement.
We encourage following all care instructions (when provided) to help preserve the beauty and integrity of your piece.
Address Accuracy, Delivery Issues + Missing Packages
Customers are responsible for reviewing all shipping details at checkout. Express checkout tools (such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal) may auto-populate address information, and we encourage reviewing this carefully before placing an order.
Some delivery locations do not accept all carrier services (USPS or UPS). It is the customer’s responsibility to select the appropriate shipping method at checkout and to notify us in advance if special delivery requirements apply.
If a free shipping promotion is used and special carrier requirements are needed, this information must be clearly noted in the Order Notes at checkout. If delivery issues occur due to this information not being communicated, additional shipping or reshipment costs may apply if the order is returned to us by the carrier.
Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses, carrier restrictions, failed delivery attempts, or unclaimed packages are the responsibility of the customer. Additional shipping fees may apply to reship returned orders.
Missing, Lost, or Stolen Packages
If a package has not arrived and tracking does not show continuous movement, please contact us so we can assist in monitoring the shipment. Please note that carriers and insurers require a waiting period before a shipment can be considered lost. As a result, we are unable to initiate a claim or offer resolution until 20 days after the shipment has left our warehouse.
If tracking shows a package as delivered but it cannot be located, or if a package is believed to have been stolen, we encourage checking with neighbors, building management, or the local carrier first. In many cases, we are able to assist customers with next steps once initial checks have been completed.
Cultiverre is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier. Any resolution for lost or stolen packages is subject to carrier verification and review, and outcomes are determined.
Refund Processing
Refunds may be issued in the following situations, when applicable:
- Approved returns that meet eligibility requirements
- Order cancellations or edits processed prior to shipment
- Damaged or defective items, once reviewed
- Missing items or delivery issues, after carrier verification and review
Once a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original form of payment. In some situations, a store credit may be offered as an alternative resolution, at Cultiverre’s discretion. You will receive confirmation once the refund or credit has been processed.
Please note that refund posting times vary by financial institution and may take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Refunds may be denied for items returned in used condition, without authorization, or outside the approved return window.
Order Changes + Cancellations
Because many orders are prepared and shipped quickly, we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order has been placed.
If you need to request an order edit or cancellation, please contact support@cultiverre.com as soon as possible after placing your order. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and depend on fulfillment and shipping status at the time we receive your message.
Once an order has entered fulfillment or shipped, we may be unable to make changes or cancel the order.
